Winner’s Interview with J Knox

After listening to love songs by Prince and Lenny Kravitz, a young man named Jamal picked up his guitar and began making music at age 13. Inspired by smooth sounds and heartbreak, he moved to Atlanta to begin interning for Legendary Music producer, Dallas Austin.

He’s only been on Indaba Music for a few months but he’s already won our hearts with his song “Rising Sun.” Check out his winning mix from our Love and Heartbreak Opportunity below!
