“Sans la musique, la vie serait un erreur.” – Nietzsche knew what he was talking about: Without music life would be a mistake. Our friends from the music and culture blog Et Musique Pour Tous share this philosophy. Their blog is dedicated to quality, not traffic. It has built a reputation as being influential amongst music supervisors and other tastemakers.
Each week we’ll be picking an Indaba member to feature on the blog, in a specially curated section. Check it out and submit your music now!

Converse is back on Indaba. And this brand-new opportunity is truly a special one. Based out of Williamsburg, Converse Rubber Tracks has shown nothing but love for the borough of Brooklyn. And so, to facilitate a love letter of sorts to the BK, Converse sent artists from Brooklyn-based Fool’s Gold Records into the field to capture Brooklyn on tape.
Now, we are asking YOU to create your original song using the sounds of Brooklyn, provided royalty-free. Write anything you want—instrumental, with lyrics, acoustic, electronic, anything—the only requirement is that you must use at least 3 of the sounds from the sample pack. So, get those creative juices flowing and make something everyone in the melting pot can enjoy.
