Every fall, musicians, bands, and industry folks gather in New York for CMJ, five days of non-stop musical mayhem (AKA heaven on earth). Naturally, Indaba Music is an active part of this event. So New Yorkers! Come to The Living Room in the Lower East Side this Thursday as we are co-presenting an exciting artist showcase with our friends from Readymade Records. More than two hours of beautiful music performed by amazing, up-and-coming talents is waiting for you. And all of this is for free.
Check out the schedule and meet us as we’re digging some of the hippest artists on the scene.
Check out this loving Bon Iver parody created by the Indaba Music staff for the Bon Iver, Bon Iver: Stems Project. Starring the Panda-Head and Zach Feldman!
At Indaba Music, we’re known for having amazing interns. Nearly 50% of our staff began as interns that we just couldn’t let go. Each semester we look forward to meeting exciting and passionate students who connect with our staff and want to help bring our international community of musicians professional opportunities.
This summer, I’d like you to meet Alex, Allie, Kevin 1, Kevin 2, Charles, Ieva and Milton. They’re an incredible bunch and though we had wanted to share stories from each, one intern in particular wrote a heartfelt piece about his experience at of our offices.
We hope you enjoy the letter below and if you’re ever looking to join the fun, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We think you’ll like it here.
