day seven.

 

still waiting over here in brooklyn.  this process started in the blistering heat of summer and now it is raining and feels like fall already.  you know the process is taking forever when a season changes and there is no progress yet!!!  but, all this said we are almost ready to start.  i can feel it!  we are planning to head into the studio once my agreement is done with my producer and that will hopefully be this week or next! counting down the days!  Continue reading

day six.

i heard back from my band and after a lot of back and forth i decided what is done is done and that i must move forward.  i am looking for a new guitarist and bass player to play shows with me for the future.  i currently have adam tressler and julian smith filling in for my show on wednesday and helping me bridge the crossover!  i am playing a brand new set of songs so they are working really hard to learn the material.  if you are free and live in nyc come out to the rockwood music hall (stage 1) and hear a brand new batch of songs.  Continue reading

day four

scheduling has become the bane of my existence!  so many schedules to work with to find time somewhere in there to rehearse and record my album.  we finally set 8 consecutive days in august to rehearse and then one of my band members had to cancel for personal reasons so now we are down to 5 days.  it is still a good bit of time, but this record needs to really be worked on and i feel like 5 days wont cut it at all.  any ideas on how to freeze time?  if so, send my way!  Continue reading
